Prevention and protection

Safe sport: prevention the club manages in one place

One public page where children, parents and coaches find the club’s contact person, emergency numbers and the way to report a concern. For the board: rules with acknowledgements, a record of training and checks, and a yearly self-assessment with actions.

In all packages · the club switches it on itself

Safe sport, Overview tab: the public page is published, 6 of 7 people have acknowledged the code of conduct, a contact person and a deputy are named, with training and the self-assessment and actions at the side.
The overview shows what is in place and what is still missing.

At a glance

A public page for children and parents

The contact person and deputy, the emergency numbers 112 and 113 and the TOM children’s helpline 116 111, an outside way to report a concern and the club’s rules. Made for phones, with a QR code for printing.

Rules with acknowledgements

A code of conduct and policies in versions. Everyone acknowledges the current version with their own sign-in; a new version needs a new acknowledgement.

Training and checks

For coaches, chaperones and volunteers: who has completed training, when it expires and whether the check is done. Only the status is stored, never the content of a criminal record certificate.

Self-assessment and actions

A yearly questionnaire on prevention in the club that turns into actions, each with a responsible person and a deadline.

In detail

Safe sport (safeguarding): everything it does

For the club board

  • A first-setup guide: contact person, a code of conduct from a template, an outside way to report and publishing.
  • The public page is published only once the contact person and the outside reporting route have all their details and the basic texts have been reviewed.
  • E-mail reminders: who has not yet acknowledged the rules, whose training expires soon and whose action is nearing its deadline.
  • An audit trail: who published, acknowledged or changed what.
  • Separate rights for editing, for contact persons and for the status of checks; a “Safe sport officer” role with no access to finances.

For coaches, members and parents

  • “My obligations” (also linked from “My profile”): which rules need acknowledging, which training is required and who the club’s contact persons are.
  • Acknowledgement only with your own sign-in — nobody acknowledges on behalf of someone else; the officer records a paper acknowledgement with a reason.
  • A public page with no cookies and no visitor tracking.
People and obligations: the requirements Code of conduct and Training for coaches, and a table by person with the labels done and missing.
Who has acknowledged the rules and who still needs training.
A coach’s “My obligations” page on a phone: nothing left to acknowledge, the code of conduct met, coach education missing, and the club’s contact persons.
Every coach sees what is still missing — and whom to contact.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Clubsman help with safe sport (safeguarding)?

Yes. The Safe sport environment module is in every plan, and the club switches it on itself. It includes a public page with the contact person, emergency numbers and the way to report, a code of conduct with acknowledgements, a record of trainings and checks, and a yearly self-assessment with actions. Clubsman does not receive reports of abuse and is not a certificate of legal compliance — it helps keep prevention in the club organised and clear.
